ANNOUNCEMENTS

Join The PTA!

Support our kids and teachers this school year by joining/renewing your PTA Membership! We meet monthly to discuss PTA-funded programs and meet with Mrs. Goodwyn; attendance is not required (but we would love to see your face). Jump in and help as your schedule allows!

Join Us on September 4th

Join us for pizza and our first PTA Meeting of the year on Thursday, September 4th, at 6 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR).

Everyone is welcome to learn more about what the PTA does, how to get involved, check out Spirit Wear offerings, meet our dedicated group of members, and join the PTA!

Kids are welcome, and we will have an activity set up for them.

Kokua Garden Clean Up Days

Join us on Tuesday, August 26th, from 4 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, August 30th, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., for a Kokua Garden clean-up! Bring your gardening gloves, tools (if you have them), and smile to lend a hand in taming our jungle and get it ready for planting and learning for the new school year.  We really appreciate YOUR help! Adults and kids welcome!

Marblehead is FINTASTIC! We are all about Being Kind, Safe, and Helpful.

Students can also sign our Be Fintastic Pledge, help build a giant Kindness Chain, and try out the Kindness Gotcha Swap. Every student will get a Gotcha Ticket to give to someone they catch being kind, safe, helpful, or Fintastic. Both names go on the ticket, and we’ll pick winners at our next Fintastic Flag Assembly!

Our school counselor, Ms. Peyton, will lead these fun activities during recess and lunch, and Mrs. Goodwyn will also host a student assembly to review school rules and expectations.

Show Your Ohana Spirit

Same amazing vibe, just brighter and more vibrant colors! Purchase your Spirit Wear at Dolphin Day or place your order online from August 18th - Sept. 7th

New Bell Schedule

Starting this school year, our weekly Early Out Day will be on Thursdays, instead of Tuesdays. Please plan accordingly for childcare and pick-up arrangements.

Additionally, CUSD is aligning with a standard bell schedule district-wide. Here are the updated dismissal times:

EVERY Thursday - Early Out Schedule

- TK: 7:45–11:38

- Kindergarten: 7:45–12:40

- 1st–5th Grade: 7:45–12:50

Extra Early Out Schedule

- TK: 7:45–11:20

- Kindergarten: 7:45–12:05

- 1st–5th Grade: 7:45–12:15

Students in the 1st - 5th grades are invited to join our amazing parent-led clubs! Choose from Lego Master Builders, Rockin’ Recess, Bio-Groms Science Club, Aloha Book Club, or the Club House (Art, Comic Book & Games). Clubs will start the week of September 8th!

Be an extra set of eyes and ears to enhance security on campus and reduce bullying. A great way to volunteer on your schedule!

Now Enrolling For Fall 2025

For the 2025-2026 school year, Capistrano Unified School District is excited to launch a flexible learning program at the beautiful Marblehead Flex Academy campus in San Clemente.

The Flex Academy will include: 100% in-person learning, 100% independent study learning, and a blend of both. The flexible learning program is designed for Transitional-Kindergarten through 5th-grade students who thrive in an independent learning environment but benefit from in-person instruction on a school campus for part of the week.

This flexible learning model is ideal for:
- Students with busy travel schedules
- Young athletes and performers
- Families seeking a personalized, adaptable education
